1 stick of butter
3/4 of a bottle of Worcestershire sauce
2 heaping spoons of cold bacon grease (optional)
1 teaspoon of tobasco sauce ( more if you like it hot)
2 tablespoons of seasoning salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Bring to a slow boil and take of heat. Allow to sit for a couple mins and then pour 1/2 over the mixture in roasting pan and give a good toss and stir. Pour the remaining sauce and do another thorough toss and stir. You don’t want any liquid at the bottom of the rooster so keep tossing and stirring until you feel everything is well coated. Put on middle rack in preheated 250 degree oven for an hr uncovered tossing and stirring every 10 min. Shake it up to separate and dump into a paper covered table to cool and dry out a bit more. Pkg in airtight containers.
