In 2018, Perrette left her job on “NCIS” after being on the show for 15 years. According to several sources, the actress left the show in 2016 due to an alleged split with her co-star Mark Harmon. The two reportedly had problems behind the scenes.
According to reports, Harmon brought his dog to the scene that year, which bit a crew member, requiring fifteen stitches. The fact that the actresses never shared a screenshot during the farewell episode served as proof of their breakup.
When Perrette visited the “NCIS” offices to say goodbye to her co-workers, her colleague’s character was only given a letter, which she read while looking across the street.
In a 2019 Twitter post, she stated that she would never change her role on the show.
Perrette stated that she was “scared of Harmon” and that she was afraid of his attack. The actress claimed that she had nightmares about the potential disaster and that she switched to a new, enjoyable program that was safe.
