Step 4: Add Vanilla and Nuts (Optional)
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract. If desired, add chopped nuts for a crunchy texture.
Step 5: Pour the Fudge into a Pan
Pour the hot fudge mixture into a greased or lined 8Ă—8-inch baking dish. Spread evenly with a spatula to ensure it reaches all corners.
Step 6: Let the Fudge Set
Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature until it sets. For faster results, refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Once firm, cut into squares and enjoy!
