Black soap
To deeply clean car carpets, there’s nothing like black soap. Simply dilute a sufficient quantity in a basin of lukewarm water. Then soak a sponge in soapy water before scrubbing the surface of the carpet. It is possible to use a soft brush at the same time to remove all stubborn stains and dust residue. Leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing with clean water then drying in the sun. Your carpets will be like new!
Oxygenated water
Unlike fabric mats, plastic mats are easier to clean. Instead of washing them in water containing dishwashing detergent or any other detergent, it is better to use hydrogen peroxide, a natural and effective solution. To do this, use a clean cloth that you will soak in a mixture of 2⁄3 water and 1⁄3 hydrogen peroxide. Then rinse with clean water and let dry in the open air.
Practical advice: when removing a carpet, it is common to see a halo appear. Rather than focusing on just one area, it makes more sense to clean the entire surface of the carpet.
