Hailey embarked on a much-needed vacation, seeking a peaceful escape from her tumultuous past. At a grocery store, she was shocked to encounter a man who looked exactly like her late husband, George, whom she believed had perished in a plane crash. Intrigued and desperate for answers, especially since her money vanished around the time of his supposed death, Hailey hurried toward him.
As Hailey disembarked from the plane, she felt the sun’s warmth on her skin, a welcome change from her troubled life at home. It was indeed George, the same face she had mourned. “George!” she called louder, drawing attention. The man stiffened and turned to face her fully. Their eyes met, and time seemed to stand still. Panic flashed across George’s face. He grabbed Martha’s arm and tried to leave, but Hailey was faster.
