Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 large lemon (about 3 tbsp)
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tsp honey (optional, for balance)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the Chicken: Pat dry the chicken tenders and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the lemon zest.
2. Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sear the chicken tenders for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Lemon Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in the lemon juice, honey (if using), red pepper flakes, and remaining lemon zest. Stir well.
4. Coat the Chicken: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the tenders. Let simmer for 2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
