Select Fresh Figs: Choose fresh, unripe figs from the tree for the best results. The latex is more abundant in unripe figs.
Apply Pressure: Gently squeeze the fig near the stem to release the milky latex. Be careful not to damage the fig too much.
Collect the Latex: Hold a small glass vial or container under the tip of the fig stem. Let the latex drip into the vial.
Repeat as Needed: Continue this process with more figs until you have collected the desired amount of latex.
Note: Fig latex may cause skin irritation, so wearing gloves is recommended.
