1. How to boil potatoes in the microwave
Wash the potatoes, cut off both ends, and use a fork to poke around the surface of the potatoes so they cook evenly and don’t get tough.
Then use a damp cloth to peel the potatoes, put them on a tray, and place them in the microwave.
Depending on the type of sweet potato you use, you choose different power and cooking time.
For each 500g of potato, you boil for about 8 minutes, plus about 4 minutes of turning to cook evenly, about 12 minutes.
After that time, open the paper to see if the potatoes are soft yet.
If not, wrap them again for a few more minutes depending on the softness of the potatoes you are cooking. When the potatoes are soft, they are ready to eat.
