Minor accidents can happen anywhere and every day. Sometimes due to poor maintenance, manufacturing defects or too much haste. One of the most common accidents is that of keys that break and remain stuck in the lock.
The worst part of this problem is that if it happens with house keys, you cannot postpone the solution. Before calling a locksmith, you can try to put into practice these tricks to remove a broken key in the lock without having to disassemble everything.
First trick
You only need a very strong magnet. If the key is stuck in a vertical position, it will be very easy to remove it.
Put a little lubricating product, then take the magnet and place it on the key to allow it to take effect. The key should adhere to the magnet and come off easily.
