Jumping into a hot bath can redirect blood to the skin and reduce supply to vital organs, causing dizziness or fainting. It’s better to stretch, eat, or move around before bathing. 2. Immediately After Eating – Bathing right after a meal diverts blood from your digestive organs to your skin, interfering with digestion. This can lead to bloating and discomfort. Wait at least 30 minutes to an hour after eating before you bathe.
