¼ tsp salt

1 cup cake flour

1 ½ tsp cream of tartar

4 cups fresh cherries (or thawed if frozen)

4 tbsp cornstarch

2/3 cup sugar

Juice from half a lemon

For the Whipped Cream:

1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped until stiff peaks form)

3 tbsp powdered sugar
