Alternative: You can also disinfect the sponge with bleach, but vinegar and baking soda are more environmentally friendly.
Cutting:
Squeeze the sponge to remove any accumulated water. After disinfecting, make sure it is completely dry.
Using scissors, cut small pieces of sponge; they should be small enough to blend easily into the soil.
Follow the steps below to prepare used sponges and reuse them efficiently and environmentally in your garden.
