Assuring customers that they simply take fundamental food item safety very seriously, the company stressed that this was an isolated incidence.
An official from McDonald’s said, “We have tackled this with the cafe immediately and done thorough re-schooling for all employees on McDonald’s sanitisation, hygiene, and meals basic safety methods.”
Some customers still weren’t convinced, despite the company’s claims. “They used to take pride in being a clean company, but that seems to have changed,” another user said, echoing a more general concern about McDonald’s cleaning standards.
