Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the salt and flour.
- Cut the chilled butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture becomes crumbly.
- Beat in the egg, then add the shredded cheese and minced jalapeños. Stir until well combined.
- Shape the dough into a ball and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Take out the chilled dough and shape it into 1-inch balls. Place them on a lined or oiled baking sheet.
- Flatten the dough balls using a cup or jar.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until they start to turn golden brown.
- After 5 minutes, transfer the cookies from the baking sheet to a wire rack to cool completely.
