Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (177°C) for 3 minutes (using the air fry/air crisp setting).
When the timer beeps, spritz some oil into each ramekin. Rub the oil around the edges with your finger or use a food brush for even coverage.
Pour 3-4 tablespoons of hot water into each ramekin.
Crack an egg gently into each ramekin.
Place the ramekins directly into the air fryer basket/tray.
Cook for 5-7 minutes, depending on your preferred yolk doneness. Check the poached egg cooking chart below for guidance on timing.
Once cooked, remove the ramekins from the air fryer.
Using a rubber spatula, gently pry the eggs out of the ramekins. If they’re stuck, you can run a knife around the edges to loosen them.
Once the eggs are free, transfer them to a plate or onto prepared toast.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy your perfect air fryer poached eggs!
Tip: Adjust the cooking time based on your desired yolk consistency. The longer you cook, the firmer the yolk will be.
Enjoy a hassle-free, perfectly poached egg without the mess!
