Directions:
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the Ground Beef

Once fully cooked, drain any excess fat.
Slice the Potatoes
While the beef is cooking, thinly slice the potatoes for even cooking and better absorption of flavors.
Assemble the Dish
Grease a baking dish.
Layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
Top with the browned ground beef and sliced onions.
Pour the beef broth evenly over the layers.
Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bake
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, allowing the potatoes to become tender and golden.
Add Cheese (Optional)
If using cheese, sprinkle it over the top during the last few minutes of baking.
Let it melt and become bubbly before serving.
