Instructions:
Prepare the Beef Ribs:
Rinse the beef ribs under cold water to remove any bone fragments.
Optionally, blanch the ribs: Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the beef ribs, and boil for 2-3 minutes. This removes impurities. Drain and rinse the ribs under cold water.
Start the Soup Base:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, add the rinsed beef ribs, 8 cups of water, and ginger slices.
