Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place an oven-safe rack on top. Lightly grease the rack with cooking spray or oil.
2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until evenly coated.
3. In a separate small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings, ensuring each wing is well-coated.
5. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared rack, ensuring they do not touch.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
7. While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan topping by combining the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley in a small bowl.
8. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan mixture. Ensure each wing is generously coated.
9. Serve the wings hot, garnished with additional parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
Variations & Tips
For a twist on the traditional garlic Parmesan flavor, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice or some lemon zest to the topping mixture for a fresh, zesty kick. If you prefer spicy wings, consider incorporating red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce into the seasoning blend. To make this recipe even more convenient, you can prepare the wings up to step 4 in advance and store them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to bake.
