- Boil the Peels: In a medium-sized pot, combine the banana peel pieces with one cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the peels are soft.
- Blend the Mixture: Once the peels are soft, let the mixture cool slightly. Transfer the peels and the boiling water to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Combine with Honey: Pour the banana peel puree back into the pot. Add one cup of raw honey and stir well to combine.
- Simmer: Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes until it thickens to a honey-like consistency.
