1 – Choose the right location

2 – Plant roses in autumn or spring

In addition, the soil is still warm in autumn and the roots of rose bushes can develop quickly. In spring, the soil is cooler and the plants need less water. Therefore, roses planted in spring are less likely to suffer from a lack of water.
