In a large bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.

Step 3: Form the Chewies
Using a tablespoon or a cookie scoop, scoop the mixture into small mounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Press gently to ensure they hold their shape.
Step 4: Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the chewies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 5: Optional Decoration
If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled chewies for extra sweetness and flair.
Let the chocolate set before serving.
