  1. Prepare the Cucumber:
    • Wash the cucumber thoroughly.
    • Cut it into chunks and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any solid particles. This cucumber juice will be used in the soap making process.
  2. Melt the Soap Base:
    • Cut the soap base into small chunks to help it melt evenly.
    • Place the soap chunks into a microwave-safe bowl or into the top part of a double boiler.
    • If using a microwave, heat the soap base in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. If using a double boiler, heat over medium heat while stirring gently until melted.
  3. Mix Ingredients:
    • Once the soap base is melted, add the cucumber juice and aloe vera gel. Stir thoroughly to ensure the mix is homogenous.
    • If using essential oils, add them at this stage. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Pour into Molds:
    • Carefully pour the mixture into your soap molds. Make sure to do this step slowly to avoid creating air bubbles.
    • If bubbles form on the surface, lightly spray with alcohol to remove them.
  5. Set the Soap:
    • Allow the soap to cool and harden. This usually takes about 1-2 hours, but you can also place them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
    • Once set, gently remove the soaps from the molds.
  6. Curing (Optional):
    • While melt and pour soaps don’t require curing, you may leave them out for a few days to fully harden, especially if you live in a humid environment.
