🍽️ Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine:
    • Flour
    • Baking powder
    • Salt
    • Sugar (if using)
  3. Add in the olive oil and warm water (or milk). Mix until a sticky dough forms. Do not overmix—just enough to bring it together.
  4. Lightly flour your hands and shape the dough into a round or oval loaf, or press it into a small oven-safe skillet or pan.
  5. Score the top with a sharp knife (a cross or a few slashes help it bake evenly).
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and firm on the outside. Tap the bottom—if it sounds hollow, it’s done.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

🔄 Variations:

  • Cheesy Garlic Bread: Add ½ cup shredded cheese + 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Herbed Bread: Add 1 tsp each dried rosemary, oregano, and thyme
  • Sweet Bread: Add 1 tbsp honey and a dash of cinnamon
