Following a challenging day in court, Habba emerged from the courthouse with complaints that Judge Engoron had reprimanded her and slammed his hands on his desk, accusing him of being too harsh. Her portrayal of the judge as overly critical sparked Goldberg’s sharp critique on The View.
During a segment on today’s show, Goldberg didn’t hold back. “With the presidential election just about a year away, one party’s frontrunner was in a familiar place yesterday—a courtroom,” Goldberg began. “You-know-who testified in his New York civil fraud trial, and, not surprisingly, he was a little, you know, defiant and confrontational, as was his attorney.”
Goldberg then mimicked a baby, rubbing her eyes dramatically. After a commercial break, the discussion continued with former federal prosecutor Sunny Hostin weighing in.
