- If you have access to a lot of aloe vera, this is the most effective way to use it. Take a few leaves of the aloe.
- Cut them lengthwise in the middle.
- Wrap each orchid branch in one half of the leaf.
- Clean the branch carefully with the gel from the leaf.
- Repeat this process up to twice a week or at least once.
2. Alternatively:
- If you don’t have a lot of aloe vera available, just cut off a leaf and chop it up.
- Then stick a piece of aloe on the orchid branch. Leave it where the dormant buds are.
- Leave the aloe on the branch for about 1-2 weeks until it dries out on the plant, then remove it and replace it with a new piece.
- Repeat this process until the buds awaken.
