1. Prepare the Garlic Bread Base

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Slice the top off the loaf of Italian bread and hollow out the center to create a well for the filling.

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the inside of the bread generously with this garlic butter. Set aside.

2. Cook the Cheesesteak Filling

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

  • Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened, about 5 minutes.

  • Add the sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked. Remove from heat.

3. Assemble the Loaf

  • Fill the hollowed bread loaf with the cooked beef and pepper mixture.
