Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cook the Fries
Spread the waffle fries on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
3. Prepare the Taco Meat
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned and onions are soft.
Drain any excess grease.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the taco seasoning. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Assemble the Dish
Once fries are crispy, remove from oven.
Top fries with the beef mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Return to the oven and bake for 5–10 more minutes, until cheese is melted.
5. Add Final Toppings
Sprinkle chopped green onions and diced tomato over the top.
Serve hot and enjoy!
