1. Prepare the filling
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with spices of your choice. Add chopped onions and cook until soft. Let the mixture cool slightly before using.
2. Assemble the rolls
Lay a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Add 1–2 tablespoons of the beef mixture near one edge, sprinkle cheese on top, and roll tightly like a burrito. Use a bit of beaten egg to seal the edges.
3. Fry until golden
Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. Serve hot
Best served fresh with ketchup, garlic mayo, spicy dipping sauce, or yogurt dip.
