Carrots: 2 peeled and artistically sliced
2 stalks of celery also sliced but not too thin
1 onion finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic minced to release their aroma
1 bay leaf for that rustic touch
Thyme? Yes please! 1 teaspoon, dried
1 teaspoon dried parsley for color and flavor
Salt and pepper to your taste buds’ content
2 cups of egg noodles because what’s a soup without noodles?
