Instructions
Crush the Cookies:
Place cookies in a gallon-sized plastic bag and crush into small pieces. Set aside.
Melt the Chocolate:
Add chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until mostly melted (about 90 seconds total).
Add Cream & Butter:
Stir in heavy cream and microwave for another 20 seconds. Add cubed butter and stir until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Mix in Cookies and Nuts:
Fold in the crushed cookies and chopped walnuts. Stir until fully combined; the mixture will be thick.
Shape the Logs:
Spoon one-third of the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape it into a log and wrap it tightly. Repeat two more times for a total of 3 logs.
Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours or overnight until firm.
Finish and Serve:
Roll each log in powdered sugar before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Tips:
• For a nut-free version, simply omit the walnuts.
• You can swap in almonds, hazelnuts, or pistachios for a twist.
• These freeze beautifully—wrap tightly and store for up to a month.
Let me know if you want a version with liqueur, dried fruit, or dairy-free swaps!
