PREPARATION METHOD
Beat the egg yolks with the water in a mixer until foamy. Add the sugar little by little and beat until fluffy (one minute in a planetary mixer and five minutes in a conventional mixer).
Add the sifted flour and cocoa powder and beat for another minute or two. Don’t beat too much so the dough doesn’t become heavy. Add the yeast and mix.
Beat the egg white until stiff. Fold it into the mixture with a spatula.
Grease a 15 cm x 30 cm pan and pour the batter into the pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
White brigadeiro filling
Ingredients:
2 boxes of condensed milk
1 dessert spoon of margarine
1 tablespoon of powdered milk
1 tbsp cream
1 bar of white chocolate 200g
How to make:
Bring all the ingredients to a boil until thickened, remove from the heat, add the chocolate bar and then the cream.
