1 piece of ginger similar in size to a thumb, cut
5 garlic cloves, chopped 3 green chilies, sliced (the amount of heat should be adjusted according to personal liking)
1 ounce of Coca-Cola
a quarter cup of soy sauce
4 teaspoons of white vinegar by volume
a two-star anise
1/2 milligram of chili flakes (or Thai chili pepper, if you like a more intense flavor)
