- Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
- Add the minced garlic, then sauté for about a minute or just until aromatic.
- Add the onions and potatoes, then cook for a few minutes as well until soft. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on top to season. Stir to combine.
- Cover the skillet with the lid, then simmer everything for about 15 minutes. Remove the cover and stir again.
- Remove the skillet from the stove and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Cover the skillet again and allow the cheese to completely melt.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped chives on top to garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
- Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
- My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Just do it and thank me later!
