Instructions:
- Prepare Your Equipment: Chill the mixing bowl and beaters or whisk in the refrigerator for at least 15β20 minutes. This will help the cream whip up faster and hold its shape better.
- Whip the Cream: Once the bowl and beaters are chilled, pour in the heavy cream. Using a stand mixer with a whisk attachment or a hand mixer set to medium-high speed, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip, as it can cause the mixture to become gritty.
- Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk: Once soft peaks have formed, gradually whisk the sweetened condensed milk into the cream. This will make the mixture creamier and sweeter, and it helps the whipped cream set.
- Incorporate Vanilla Extract: Whip the mixture again, this time adding the vanilla extract. This step will enhance the dessertβs aroma and flavor.
- Chill the Dessert: Spoon the whipped cream mixture into a serving dish or individual dessert bowls. Place them in the refrigerator for at least 2β3 hours, or until fully chilled. As it cools, the dessert will thicken into a creamy texture, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once the dessert has chilled, remove it from the fridge and add your favorite toppings, such as chopped fruit, cookie crumbs, fresh berries, chocolate shavings, or caramel sauce. This dessert is best enjoyed right away for its creamy richness.
