Step 1: Cook the Rice
In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water.
Cook over medium heat until the rice is soft and the water is fully absorbed.
Step 2: Add Milk
Reduce the heat to low.
Add the milk and stir continuously for about 20 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly.
Step 3: Stir in Condensed Milk
Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and stir until well blended.
Step 4: Simmer to Creaminess
Continue to cook for 5–10 more minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pudding reaches a creamy consistency.
Step 5: Cool and Serve
Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Serve warm or chilled. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top before serving, if desired.
Tips
Stir frequently to avoid sticking or burning.
Use whole milk for extra creaminess.
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
