  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Butter, softened: 90g (1 cup)
  • Plain flour: 600g (about 4-5 cups)

For the Topping:

  • Egg yolk mixed with milk: 1 egg yolk + 3 tablespoons milk
  • Almond flakes: As needed
