Directions
1. In a blender, combine the fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water. Blend until the sugar is fully dissolved.
2. Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend until the mixture is frothy and the ice is crushed.
3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mixture until well combined and creamy.
5. Pour into glasses, garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
Variations & Tips
If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, try adding a splash of vanilla extract or a handful of fresh berries before blending. For a slightly different twist, you could use lime juice instead of lemon juice – the result is just as refreshing. For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut cream for heavy whipping cream; it adds a lovely hint of tropical flavor.
