Directions:

1. Line the inside of hot dog buns with mayonnaise and sweet relish. (Yes, it may sound unusual, but the mayo works its magic, keeping the bread super soft and delicious!)
2. Evenly add mustard (feel free to add ketchup too).
3. Fill the buns with hot dogs and arrange them snugly in a 13×9″ baking pan.
4. Top the hot dogs with chili, cheese, and diced onions.
5. Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
6. Carefully remove the hot dogs from the pan using a spatula.
