Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping at the base. Gently pull apart the shell and lift the meat slightly, resting it on top of the shell.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the garlic butter mixture. If you prefer a smoky flavor, try using smoked paprika instead of regular paprika. You can also grill the lobster tails instead of baking them; just preheat the grill to medium-high and cook for about 10 minutes, basting with the butter mixture throughout. For a dairy-free version, substitute the butter with olive oil or a plant-based butter alternative.
