DIY Fabric Softener: It costs just a few cents and is much more effective than industrial fabric softeners (Page 2 ) | March 7, 2025

200 ml of hot water
20 drops of essential oil (you can use the scent you prefer)
100 g of sodium bicarbonate
800 ml of apple cider vinegar
You now have everything you need to prepare it.

Method
You must first take your plastic bottle and pour hot water into it. Then pour the bicarbonate , close the bottle and shake vigorously . Once this is done, gradually add the apple cider vinegar to the bottle . Then shake the bottle vigorously again after closing it to mix all the ingredients well. Once this simple process is complete, let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes . After these minutes, all you have to do is add the drops of essential oil indicated in the list to the mixture. I recommend using the vanilla scent to obtain a wonderful scent. Finally, close the bottle and shake again to mix everything well. Your fabric softener is now ready to use.

Next: I promise, whenever I make these, they disappear without a trace.
