DIY Fabric Softener: It costs only a few cents and is much more effective than industrial fabric softeners (Page 2 ) | April 23, 2025

200 ml of hot water
20 drops of essential oil (you can use any scent you prefer)
100 g of sodium bicarbonate
800 ml of apple cider vinegar
Now you have everything you need to prepare it.

Method
First, take your plastic bottle and pour hot water into it. Then pour in the baking soda, close the bottle, and shake vigorously. Once this is done, gradually add the apple cider vinegar to the bottle. Then, shake the bottle vigorously again after closing it to mix all the ingredients well. Once this simple process is complete, let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes. After these minutes, all you have to do is add the essential oil drops indicated in the list to the mixture. I recommend using the vanilla scent for a wonderful scent. Finally, close the bottle and shake again to mix everything well. Your fabric softener is now ready to use.
