Dolly’s Chicken and Stuffing Casserole 🍗🥘
Ingredients:
• 2 lbs cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (rotisserie works great!)
• 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
• 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup (or use 2 chicken)
• 1 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
• ½ cup milk
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix (like Stove Top)
• 1 ½ cups chicken broth (for moist stuffing)
• ½ cup melted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream soups, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Spread evenly in the baking dish.
3. Make the Stuffing: In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with chicken broth and melted butter, stirring until just moistened.
4. Assemble & Bake: Spread the stuffing evenly over the chicken mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
5. Uncover & Crisp: Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
6. Serve & Enjoy: Let it rest for a few minutes, then dig in!
