Use activated carbon
Activated carbon is effective in removing long-standing residue in the kettle. You can put a little activated carbon powder in the kettle, pour in water and boil. Activated carbon will absorb dirt inside the kettle.
Using eggshells
After cooking, you can keep the eggshells, wash them thoroughly and crush them. Put the eggshells in a kettle, pour in about half the kettle, stir well with chopsticks and turn on the kettle. Boil the water for a few minutes. You can repeat boiling the eggshells in the kettle several times to increase the cleaning effect. Then, pour the eggshells out and rinse the kettle with clean water.
Using potato peels
Take the potato peels (washed of all the dirt on the outside) and put them in the kettle. Pour more water into the kettle and turn on the kettle, boil the water for about 10 minutes. Then, rinse the kettle with clean water. Doing this will remove the dirt in the kettle.
