Preparation:
Set the Stage: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Layering Time: Evenly lay out your sliced potatoes and onions at the bottom of the baking dish. Give them a generous seasoning.
Brown & Layer: On a skillet, brown the pork chops after seasoning them. Once done, position them atop the potato-onion layer.
Sauce it Up: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium flame. Blend in flour, whisking until smooth. Gently pour in the broth, followed by the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir and cook till it thickens to a rich, velvety sauce.
Assembly: Drizzle this sauce over the pork chops.
Baking: Cover your dish with foil and let it bake for 45 minutes.
Serve: Once out of the oven, serve it piping hot and watch the faces light up with joy!
