What to do
1. Make the spaghetti:
Make sure to boil the rigatoni in salted water until they are al dente, following the directions on the box. Reserve the drained liquid.
2. Get the sausage cooked:
Olive oil should be heated in a big pan over medium heat. Brown the garlic sausage slices on both sides by adding them to the pan and cooking for another five to seven minutes. Once cooked, take out the pan and place aside.
3. Get the Alfredo sauce started:
Toss in the minced garlic and continue cooking for around a minute, or until it begins to release its aroma. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer gently while stirring.
Toss in the cheese: Melt the Parmesan by stirring it into the sauce as it thickens. Add seasonings according to your liking.
4. Bring together:
Toss in the browned sausage and cooked rigatoni with the cheesy Alfredo sauce in the pan.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for garnish.
