👩🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat and Prepare
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together:
Flour
Sugar
Baking powder
Baking soda
Salt
Cinnamon
3. Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, combine:
Melted butter
Eggs
Milk or buttermilk
Vanilla extract
Stir until smooth.
4. Combine Wet and Dry
Slowly add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Mix gently just until combined. Batter should be slightly lumpy.
5. Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
If the top browns too quickly, tent with foil in the last 10–15 minutes.
6. Add Topping
While the bread is still warm, brush with melted butter.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle generously over the top.
7. Cool and Serve
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature!
