Add the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add the warm water, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust the water or flour slightly for the right consistency.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 12-16 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Cover with a clean towel and let them rest for about 15-30 minutes.
Cook the Tortillas: 6. Preheat a cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. 7. Roll out each dough ball into a thin circle, about 6-8 inches in diameter.
Use additional flour to prevent sticking. 8. Place the rolled tortilla in the hot skillet and cook for about 30-45 seconds on each side, or until lightly browned and cooked through. Adjust the heat as necessary to avoid burning. 9. Remove the cooked tortillas from the skillet and keep them warm in a clean kitchen towel or tortilla warmer.
Serve: 10. Brush each warm tortilla with melted butter before serving.
