Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, paprika, brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, salt, and basil in a large bowl and mix thoroughly until well blended.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to ensure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 3 hours to marinate evenly.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated shrimp onto wooden skewers, adding around 5 or 6 shrimp onto each skewer.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook on each side for 2 to 3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Once done, serve the grilled herb and garlic shrimp hot.
