How to Remove Sticky Residue from Windows
Removing adhesive residue from glass can be challenging due to the type of glue that was applied. However, the front part of the sticker can also be difficult to handle. Usually, the label can be removed easily, especially if it is made of plain paper.
To easily remove stickers made of shiny or metallic paper that repels water, you should scratch the surface. Cut a safety knife in a grid pattern on the sticker. Be cautious not to press too hard on the glass to avoid scratching it.
Static window clingers made of a soft plastic gel are designed to be easy to remove. In extremely cold or hotweather, they might adhere firmly to the glass. To solve this issue, it is recommended to cut these stickers to break the seal and make them easier to take off.
