As for Taylor Swift, she’s remained relatively quiet on the matter, choosing not to respond publicly—at least not yet. Given her history of addressing controversies through her music, it wouldn’t be surprising if her next album featured a song about being “exiled from Flavortown.”
Still, some are calling on Swift to take a stand and address the situation head-on. “Taylor has always been vocal about standing up to injustice,” one fan tweeted. “She should let everyone know that being kicked out of a restaurant for endorsing a political candidate is unacceptable.”
Until Swift decides to comment, though, the internet remains divided between those who support Fieri’s decision and those who see it as a ridiculous overreaction.
